We believe that the best preparation for school happens when children don't even notice they're learning. Too many educational apps feel like digital worksheets. We wanted to build something different: a place where children experiment and discover – and the school skills come along naturally. Every task in Fiete PlaySchool was designed so that a child's first instinct is 'I want to try this', not 'I have to do this'.

Children move freely between guided courses, open worlds for free experimentation and a 3D city to build and explore. Each course is led by one of ten teacher characters – each with their own voice and personality – and ends with a child-friendly quiz in chat form that earns a badge. Open worlds invite children to try things out without a goal: weighing animals, mixing ingredients, exploring how things work. Nothing is timed, nothing is graded, and children can switch between activities whenever they like.
